Early one morning

I’ve never been an early riser, but the morning has it’s finer points.  After my night in the mountain pass (dig through the archives if you don’t know what I’m talking about), I woke up with the sun and continued my trek through the Pyrenees.

In all honesty, I had no idea they were such beautiful mountains.  I’ve had the pleasure of living by the Alps and thanks to that experience, combined with the massive amount of attention the Alps receive from skiers, had left me thinking the Pyrenees were second rate mountains.  I was very mistaken as I hope this picture and the next few I post will show.

The extraordinary beauty of very ordinary things...
